New Audition Notice!

Garrison Players will hold auditions for The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, a comedic murder mystery by John Bishop, from 7-9:30 on September 4 and 5 at the Garrison Players Arts Center, Route 4 in Rollinsford. Needed are 5 men and 5 women, aged 18-50’ish, and one of the male actors needs to be able to play the piano. Also needed are backstage people, who should also come to the audition to sign up to help.

The show, directed by Jerry Finley, will be staged at the Arts Center from October 31 through November 9. Not a musical, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 was critically hailed both on and Off-Broadway, poking fun at the more ridiculous aspects of "show biz" and the corny thrillers of Hollywood's heyday.
