With music by Harvey Schmidt, book and lyrics by Tom Jones, this show became the world's longest running musical. Garrison Players presents the classic story of two young lovers who learn about life as their meddling parents plot their relationship. This show is a favorite to be enjoyed by the whole family.

The Cast....

item2

Mark Boisvert (El Gallo) is ecstatic to be making his debut with the Garrison Players! Last fall, he was seen as Rooster in Annie with the Pittsfield Players. He is a graduate of Hofstra University in NY. Mark is currently pursuing a Masters in Elem. Education at Rivier College. He is co-owner of KidSpot Theatre Company in NH. Many thanks to his fantastick fan club!

item7

Trevor Hess (Matt) is a senior at Somersworth High School this year, and he is very excited to be performing again with GP. He has been seen in several other shows, most recently as Gad in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Hackmatack Playhouse. Trevor has also been seen in productions at GP and at SHS; including, Pippin, Little Shop of Horrors, The Sound of Music, and Hello, Dolly!. This is his first leading role, and he is overjoyed that it is at the Garrison Players Arts Center. Trevor would like to thank his parents for carting him all over the place; his best friend Teri S. for getting him addicted to theatre; John S. for giving him this amazing opportunity; Brian L. for encouraging him to continue his involvement with GP; and finally Danni D. and her family for always encouraging him in his talents, and for being, by far, his biggest fans.

item8

Leslie Rosenberger (Luisa) is a junior at Somersworth High School. She loves theater and longs to be an opera singer. You may have seen her in Hello, Dolly as Minny Fay, Magic Flute, Wizard of OZ, and many other area productions. Although she is late to join the cast, she would like to thank everyone for their patience and warm welcome.

item9

Caryn Costello (The Mute) lives and works in Rochester, NH, where she teaches 7th grade at Rochester Middle School. She has done theater off and on since high school, appearing in Into the Woods, Nunsense, and Ruthless. Her most recent work has been with Garrison Players in A Voice of Their Own. In her off time she likes to hike and hit people with sticks (not random people - she is an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism - a medieval reconstruction group).

item10

Paul LeFevre II (Bellomy) is happy to be back with GP after being away for many years. He lives in East Rochester and is a Title One Teacher at the East Rochester Elementary School. He has been active in a number of theatre groups in southern NH. This summer he was seen as George in Moon Over Buffalo with the Lakeside Players. For the past few years he has performed at Leddy Center in Epping. Some of his past roles include Felix Unger in The Odd Couple, Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz, Matthew Cuthbert in Anne of Green Gables, Jonathan Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, John Utterson in Jekyll and Hyde, Marc in ART, Daddy Warbucks in Annie, and Hucklebee in The Fantasticks. He would like to thank everyone who continually supports him in the theatre.

item11

Tinka Finley (Hucklebee) has acted (Quilters, Fiddler on the Roof, ‘night, Mother), and directed (Pirates of Penzance, Oklahoma, The Sound of Music,) as a long-time member of Garrison Players. She spent 19 summers on stage at Hackmatack Playhouse in Berwick and has also performed at the former Dover Repertory Theatre, Gamaliel Theatre in Durham, and the Rochester Opera House. Some of her favorite roles include the psychiatrist in Agnes of God, Katisha in The Mikado, and Lotte Schoen in Lettice and Lovage. Offstage, Tinka runs the computer lab at Horne St. Elementary School in Dover.

item12

Jerry Finley (Henry) has been a member of GP for many years, and has performed in 1776 and Pirates of Penzance. He directed many productions, such as No Sooner Won Than Wed, The Miracle Worker, and Luv, as well as wielding hammer, nails, and paint brushes on occasion. He has also performed at UNH, Hackmatack Playhouse, and the former Dover Repertory Theatre and Theatre-by-the-Sea in Portsmouth. Favorite roles include Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Jeeter Lester in Tobacco Road and the King in Once Upon a Mattress. When not on stage, Jerry is an avid gardener.
